Slingshot's Instrument Setup and Harmonization Controls are precision engineered synthetic hydrogel reference particles designed to support instrument‑to‑instrument standardization of forward and side scatter. Each control includes multiple defined scatter populations that span a biologically relevant range, enabling consistent calibration, linearity assessment and long‑term performance tracking across diverse flow cytometry platforms.These controls provide stable reproducible scatter characteristics that eliminate the variability associated with biologically derived materials. ScatterBridge® products can be used to align scatter settings between instruments, optimize FSC and SSC detection and recalibrate scatter following major instrument service. FlowCytes® products can be used individually or in tandem with ScatterBridge to ensure reproducbility in scatter settings across assays.As synthetic, non-biohazardous materials, they require no special handling or disposal.
